Perth Hills Vignerons Association Newsletter Edition 1: July 2008
Welcome to the first edition of our quarterly newsletter, a new initiative aimed at keeping you up to date with what’s going on in the region and the industry.
New Perth Hills Map & Brochure
We are pleased to announce that the new map and brochure for 2008/2009 is now available This is great source of information for people looking for a day out in the region, listing all the vineyards open for tasting and places to eat. You can pick up a copy from the various Perth Hills Wineries and Visitor Centres and it is also downloadable from the web site www.perthhillswine.com.
Good Food & Wine Show 11-13 July 2008
The Perth Hills Wine region will have a significant presence at this year’s event with the Association, Hartley Estate and Millbrook Winery taking out booths. The Association will be promoting the whole region and will have wine from Cosham, Western Range, Hainault, White Dog, Lion mill and Chidlows Well available to taste. The event which is held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre attracts some 15,000 visitors and if you are keen to get a sample of some of the regions fantastic wines please come and say hello to us at booth number D36.
Perth Hills Wine Show 2-3 August 2008
This annual event gives winemakers the opportunity to showcase their talents and the general public a chance to sample the best the region has to offer. The public event will again be held in conjunction with the Mundaring Truffle Festival at the Hub 8 Craig Street in Mundaring 11am – 5pm. Entry is $15 per person which includes a souvenir glass.
The association has been busy updating the web site to be more interactive and informative so please go and have a look, save it to your favourites and encourage friends and family to sign up for the newsletter.
